In 1986, after the Revolutionary People's Party adopted a new economic mechanism which is a market-oriented economic mechanism to replace the centrally planned economic mechanism, at the 4th Congress, the party mobilized academic staff to turn to the fundamentals in order to bring the mechanism into practice.
