ASDSP organized participatory brainstorming meetings with smallholder farmers in four target villages: Nongkham, Jiang, Boumphouk, and Huayhok—in Kasi District, Vientiane Province. The purpose of these meetings was to support and encourage farmers to take greater responsibility for their agricultural and livestock production, strengthen productivity, and promote sustainable livelihood outcomes. This activity was funded by Bread for the World (BfTW) and is part of the project, “Improving Sustainable Livelihoods for Smallholder Farmers in Urban Areas.”

Provided technical training on bio-compost production for smallholder farmers.

ASDSP organized technical training sessions on bio-compost production for smallholder farmers in four target villages (Nongkham, Jiang, Boumphouk, and Huayhok) in Kasi District, Vientiane Province. Conducted exchange visits on beekeeping and organic agriculture production in Paek District, Xiengkhuang Province.

ASDSP organized an exchange visit to Paek District, Xiengkhuang Province, for smallholder farmers from four target villages in Kasi District, together with relevant government stakeholders. The visit focused on learning and sharing experiences in organic agriculture, bio-compost production, farmer group management, and beekeeping, with the aim of applying these lessons in Kasi District.
